Tim Janiszewski

Tim Janiszewski is an American conductor noted for his passionate performances and enthusiasm for sharing his love for music with musicians and audiences alike. He currently serves as the Intermezzo Orchestra Conductor with the Encore Music Academy. His previous postions have included serving as The Music Director and Conductor of The Illinois Valley Youth Symphony, the Conductor of the Midwest String Orchestra, and the Music Director at the Naperville Summer Place Theatre. He also served as the Assistant Conductor of the Midwest Philharmonic Orchestra and the Assistant Conductor of the Northwest Symphony Orchestra.
His conducting engagements have included appearances with the Gwinnett Symphony Chamber Orchestra, Smokey Mountain International Festival Orchestra, El Sistema Ravinia Youth Orchestra, Northwest Symphony, and the Elmhurst Philharmonic Orchestra.
Tim Janiszewski received his M.M. in Orchestral Conducting from Messiah University, where he studied with Dr. Timothy Dixon and conducted the Messiah Symposium Orchestra. He received his B. A. in Music Education and Music Theory/Composition from Elmhurst University, where he was the six-time winner of the Elmhurst University Conductor Competition and led a three-year engagement of conducting appearances with the university. His mentors include Dr. Timothy Dixon, Donald Schleicher, Kim Diehnelt, Dr. Peter Griffin, and Ross Kellan.
